The first type of whitening we offer is in-office power bleaching. This treatment provides same day results. The patient rests comfortably in the dental chair while the entire process is performed. It takes from one to two hours, and includes a professional cleaning of the teeth.
Some patients may instead prefer customized take-home whitening kits. These kits include medical-grade products and instructions which allow for brightening of the teeth in a more gradual manner—and in the privacy of one’s home.
These treatments are much more effective than anything available over-the-counter from the local drugstore. Patients find that they prefer one over the other based on price, time to completion, or other factors. Both provide excellent results, just over different periods of time and with different methodologies.
